Welding Inspection
We are a specialty Inspection company offering a wide variety of Inspection services. Our qualified team will help you with all your inspection needs and NDT Requirements, Non Destructive testing.
We perform Ultrasound, both conventional shearwave and Phased Array.
We now offer RT (X-ray) for the New Mexico, and will also travel.
Inspection Types
We can inspect all aspects of welding: ASME B31.1,3,9. AWSD1.1 Structural steel. Bridge code AWS D1.5. API 1104 Gas and Oil pipelines, storage tanks, Inspection 650 and repair 653.
Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) Scanning
We scan structures and flooring in order to investigate internal anomalies. Using the MALA scanning system (GPR), which is excellent for pre-coring operation for the location of tendons and rebar.
Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT)
Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) is an advanced non-destructive testing method used to inspect materials for internal defects or flaws. It utilizes a phased array probe that emits a controlled beam of ultrasonic waves, allowing for the manipulation of the angle and focal point of the beam. This enables. Precise scanning of the material and provides detailed information about size, location, and orientation of any detected anomalies. PAUT is highly versatile, allowing for the examination of various material types and geometries. It offers faster and more accurate results compared to the traditional ultrasonic testing method.
505NDE, LLC is proud to become New Mexico’s first and only AWS Accredited Weld Testing Facility (ATF). Our quality assurance program has been established to meet or exceed the requirements of AWS QC-4, Standard for the Accreditation of Testing Facilities. Our team of CWI’s oversee the testing process from start to finish to ensure that welding and testing is completed to the highest standard. We can accommodate testing for individuals, or companies looking to qualify welders to AWS, ASME, and API standards utilizing SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, and FCAW welding processes.
